Suggested content to include: Name, Location (give detail or leave it out if itโ€™s a secret spot!), Date, Equipment, Catch, Sum it up in a lineโ€ฆ, Tell us about your dive, attach a pic, optionally share your Facebook / Instagram / Blog address.

Monthly Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

  1. The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
  2. To enter, send your dive report (min. 250 words) to enquiries @ spearfishing.co.uk. See suggested content above.
  3. We reserve the right to refuse to publish a dive report on the website if we deem it unsuitable (as an example, if we are concerned about the content from a safety perspective), although if it is a genuine dive report we will still enter you into the monthly draw.
  4. Alternatively we reserve the right to suggest edits before any dive report is published.
  5. The first prize draw will take place on 22nd October 2021 and prize draws will take place monthly after that, on the 22nd of each month.
  6. The winner will be informed by email and will receive their Spearo cash via email in the form of a code that can be used on the website.
  7. You are not obliged to provide your full name or a photo of yourself (but if you don't, please do give a photo of your catch or location!)
  8. We cannot accept responsibility for entries that are lost or mislaid (but please do feel free to chase us up if you don't see your report on the site within a few days).
  9. We will include a link to your Facebook, Instagram or personal blog if provided. For obvious reasons we won't include competitor links!
  10. Entrants under 18 must get consent from their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) before entering. The parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of entrants under 18 agree to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of the entrant.
  11. The prize draw is not open to employees of Spearfishing Limited although they may submit dive reports!
  12. Multiple monthly entries are very welcome and you will be entered into the draw again for each report.
  13. A winner will be chosen by random draw using computer software. The winner's name will be published in the format provided by them with their entry.
  14. We reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  15. Insofar as is permitted by law, Spearfishing Limited will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Spearfishing Limited. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  16. We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and will only use your personal information in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy which is available on our website. By entering, you agree that any personal information provided by you with your entry may be held and used by us to administer the competition.
  17. All our prize draws and competitions will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
  18. We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website.
