Why buy a box set of lynx for their Christmas present when you can get them this little hamper!

This little hamper will provide essential safety kit to use with your float! If you don’t have a float, you can tag one on.

A float kit is key to spearfishing as it keeps the user visible in the water and if the spear/gun/fish snag on the bottom, you’re able to let go of your speargun to come to the surface without the worry of loosing your kit. You can follow the floatline back down to untangle or release whatever you need to. Another great aspect of using a float is the ability to attach your catch to it, this stops the weight from dragging you down!

FLOAT LINE SET UP

In this hamper, you’ll be given a Rob Allen dyneema core bungee. Swell effect can tug on your gun and can cause you to miss your shot. The bungee is a great tool to reduce the effect of swell and completely minimise it. We advise 1-3m of bungee depending on the depths you dive.

The bungee will be connected up to a line winder, which is perfect for keeping your line tidy and tangle free.

And from the line liner, you’ll have your Rob Allen heavy duty float line. This will be the bulk of your line as its cheap, easy to maintain, floats well, doesn’t tangle easily and is exceptionally strong. We recommend 5m more than your maximum hunting depth.

Theres the option for adding a the Picasso Torpedo Pro float or the Picasso Hydro float. The Mega torpedo is streamlined and easy to pull through the water, whereas the hydro float allows you a little bit of room to keep items like a water bottle above the water.

The last optional extra is the Rob Allen speed stringer. You are able to quickly and effectively use your floatline as a stringer. As you swim forward, the fish floats back towards your float. The barb is used to secure the fish and stop it from falling back down.
