The barrel of the Salvimar Metal Roller is made from an aircraft grade aluminium alloy and has a continuous rail. The trigger mechanism is inverse in order to gain inches of useful range. It is made with steel parts and glass-filled nylon, which makes it robust and smooth to operate โ no jamming. The trigger mechanism itself is made of stainless steel.
The handle is made from an ergonomic adjustable non-slip rubber recoil pad. The curved profile and pads follow the structure of the hand and so provide maximum comfort and a strong grip.
The low profile of the sternal support adds additional improvements to the ergonomics of the handle. This provides greater stability when shooting and doesnโt obscure vision. It can also be easily removed and replaced without tools.
The Salvimar โMetal Rollerโ differs from the โMetalโ variant with its upgraded roller muzzle and anchor for band pre-loading.

This gun does not come rigged from the manufacturer. We can rig it for you at a small charge to cover the time it takes. We will also upgrade to high quality Rob Allen 2mm mono and crimps with a single wrap.
A muzzle bungee is not provided by the manufacturer of this gun, but we feel itโs an essential upgrade if you want to avoid stressing when rigging your gun in the water after a shot. The bungee allows you to quickly pop your shooting line on the line release ready for your next shot. Without a bungee this can be a very fiddly and annoying job – especially with gloves on.
